Is It Good To Implement an Inclusive Education System in Indonesia?

Inclusive Education System in Indonesia

Inclusive education is a type of education that aims to equalize the rights of all people, without exception, to receive education, including those with disabilities, because no human being is perfect in this world. So with the various forms of diversity that exist, such as ethnicity, race, language, culture, and religion. It is hoped that it can encourage a culture of tolerance and mutual respect, as well as a form of implementation of a philosophy that recognizes the diversity of humans working together to build a better life.

Inclusive system brings equal opportunities for all children. Students with all backgrounds are in the same school, in the same classroom which allow students to learn and grow side by side, to the benefit of all. So how if this kind of education system is implemented in Indonesia?

In my opinion, of course this is excellent for use in Indonesia. Because Indonesia is a culturally diverse country with a wide range of ethnic groups, races, and religions. As a result of having children from a variety of backgrounds in one school, children will learn more about tolerance and mutual respect. Furthermore, such a fundamental attitude must be instilled in children at a young age so that when they gets older, they are not surprised anymore and can accept diversity gracefully. Which at this point, it can actually reduce cases of bullying in the future.
